Forecasting energy demand accurately helps energy companies save money and resources. Understanding the factors affecting energy demand influences their decision-making mechanism significantly. Knowing how the consumers use the energy and predicting it for the future helps companies allocate their resources effectively and adopt new energy-saving strategies to reduce GHG emissions and energy production costs which affects energy prices for consumers. I offer to analyze energy data given in this dataset: https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/nicholasjhana/energy-consumption-generation-prices-and-weather/data to understand the hourly energy demand and build a model that gives accurate predictions. I am also open to researching different datasets related to energy predictions or working on a green-energy-related data analysis project.
