This is an investigation into how lobbying behavior influences stock trades by politicians. The (ambitious) goal is to identify the effect that lobbying efforts have on the trading of individual stocks by congress-people, and possibly predict how likely politicians are to trade in a given sector of stocks (e.g. tech, or defense, etc.) based on the current lobbying environment.
