We collect a dataset of financial news articles, analyst reports, or social media posts related to companies listed on the S&P 500. Utilizing NLP techniques, we will run sentiment analysis on this text data. At the same time, we will collect stock price data for these companies. The objective is to study the correlation between public sentiment and stock market performance, and if possible, to predict stock trends based on sentiment scores.
