Differential Item Functioning
Enhao Feng, Vivian Zhu, Qizhou Duan
This is an in-person project.
Differential Item Functioning (DIF) is an important domain in quantitative psychology. By measuring individual and group responses to test items in an exam setting, DIF is able to determine bias of the test items with respect to group identity and backgrounds. In this project, we seek to perform DIF in the data science setting and compare it to traditional statistical methods.
