Blood protein profiles in healthy people differ from those of people who have cancer or other diseases. Establishing these profiles can be helpful for diagnosing diseases. Our goal was to combine protein profile datasets from a variety of patients who have cancer or are healthy controls, and then use that to train models that can predict whether someone is healthy or has cancer, and also determine the type of cancer, based on their blood protein profile.
