Crash Course in Fast Food

Based on anecdotal evidence, we have observed small crashes, close calls and road rages especially in close vicinity of fast-food drive-through exits during rush hour in Columbus, Ohio. Often, these exits lead directly onto busy streets without traffic lights. We now want to know if this is actually true.
We will use the Ohio crash dashboard https://statepatrol.ohio.gov/dashboards-statistics/ostats-dashboards/crash-dashboard, which gives information about the severity, exact location, time of the day and other variables (bike-related, alcohol-related...) of crashes during the last 5 years and correlate this information with the location of fast food drive-throughs, traffic lights and stop signs. For this, we will utilize the Google Maps and/or Open Street Maps API.
We hope to understand if additional traffic regulations can reduce the risk of accidents in these areas.
