Double Shot

Project 1 evaluated the feasibility of expanding “Double Shot,” a café near Louisiana State University, into a late-night café-bar hybrid. Survey and market analyses revealed strong demand for extended hours and alcohol service, positioning Double Shot as a safe and convenient social hub connecting daytime café culture with nighttime bar life.
Project 2 explored why customers abandon online shopping carts through virtual interviews and contextual inquiry. We found that pop-ups, no wishlist, and missing guest checkout hindered purchases, leading to recommendations to streamline checkout and improve usability.
Project 3 investigated membership churn at Everyday Glow, a make-up company by combining survey data from lapsed members with an A/B test of redesigned subscription pages. Results showed that adding flexible “skip” and “pause” options significantly improved retention, suggesting that greater user control enhances membership
