We developed recommendation models for board games to be used by board game companies and indie game stores to assess what games to stock. Our models could also be used by schools and childcare programs to assess what new games to buy given what games they know their kids like. We pursued two main directions: estimating how many users are likely to add a particular game to their wishlist and building a recommender system that helps users discover and choose games they are likely to enjoy.
