This data science project examines NCAA Division I FBS football games decided by eight points or fewer. Such games in which the outcome hinges on a single possession are sometimes known as "one-score games." The goal is to identify the team statistics most predictive of winning these tightly contested matchups, and to build models capable of forecasting outcomes based on in-game performance.
