Objectives
1. Understand the architecture of GPUs
2. Gain proficiency with CUDA programming in C++
3. Explore which types of computations are amenable to GPU acceleration
4. Learn how to avoid the common pitfalls of parallelism [memory bottlenecks, undefined order of execution, idle threads, etc.]
