Analyzing US Maternal Mortality
David Clancy, Stephanie Egler, Kristina Callaghan, Katherine Martin, Fei Li, Solange de Aveiro Ramos

Maternal mortality in the US is high compared to other peer-nations. According to the UN, the United States was one of the few countries to see an increase in maternal mortality rate between the years 2000 and 2015. To identify possible risk factors, we collected over 50 possible contributors from the CDC and the Census Bureau. We ran various regression models to determine which features are linked to higher maternal mortality rates.
